Gold

So here’s a super delayed post about another of my wedding card designs. This one is special again because it was made for a very special friend. Pushkaraj Deshpande or Puki as we all fondly call him has been one of my oldest and most dear friends from school. He is crazy, funny, adorable, always making people laugh but above all a solid friend who you can count on for anything, anytime. Needless to say it was great to design for him and be a part of the celebrations.

The card design is simple yet detailed and very gold. The cover itself is an envelope that holds the invitation insert. The gold embossed envelope can be used as a photo frame after taking the insert out.

So here’s to Pushkar and the gorgeous Arundhati, you guys are awesome! Thank you for letting me do this, and for the beautiful saree! (Yes, I love it when there is appreciation in kind :D)

Here are more details about the card on my new website Kimya Gandhi Invitations.

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart (i carry it in my heart) Julia's Chocolate spongecake with dark chocolate ganache and sea salt 🖤
