The year end and the new year

Its been so long since I did a post. Its been a crazy 2014, eventful busy and exciting. It started with Rob’s trip to Mumbai for two months, my trip to the US for a month and then him moving here in October! The trip to the USA was every bit as wonderful as I had hoped. From conducting a Devanagari type design workshop at Typecon in Washington DC, spending hours at various museums and art galleries, live music and beer at blues bars in Chicago, visiting Rob’s parents, a crazy first sailing experience (I’ll need a separate post to explain that one in detail), steering a sail boat!– to having the best time meeting my two best friends in Boston and NY, it was all so great that I’m out of superlatives!
Then again Rob’s move here has been nothing short of an adventure. Most of the past months have gone by in either setting up and settling in our new home or planning wedding things. I’m glad that our home is as set up as it can be for now, and I am very happy with how it feels.
The wedding was crazier than what I pictured when planning. It was so great to be with all my family and friends join in the celebration. A trip to Goa following the wedding was the perfect way to relax and unwind. Now I’m back to work, feeling restless without people in the house or things to plan, but slowly getting back to routine.
So, its been a great start to 2015 and I am only hoping it gets better for us and everyone else! Happy New Year to all!

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart (i carry it in my heart) Julia's Chocolate spongecake with dark chocolate ganache and sea salt 🖤
